June 19-22, 2005
I travel more days in the year than I am home. This trip to Craig
has been most memorable! I have felt a deep sense of peace here
and my stay at Bucareli Bay Blue Heron is mostly responsible for
that! Thank you for sharing your home & community with me. I
will look forward to my next visit to Craig and your lovely Inn.

You are so fortunate to live on the beach where you can hear the
waves washing the shore. The last time I slept & woke with the
sound of the surf was over 20 years ago in Maine. This place brought
back those memories & reminded me how much I loved that sound
& the salt air smell. Thanks.

Very comfortable place to relax! It’s a treat to sit here
with the cozy stove, super view, nice cup of tea. Had great dinners
at Shelter Cove and Ruth Ann’s. Caught a lot of fish with
Shelter Cove’s great guide Lee. Took many hikes through old
growth rain forest. Saw whales, otters, and much more. It’s
great to come back here at the end of the day. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed the openness of the common room where we watched salmon
jump and whales do tail slaps. Very beautiful setting. While here,
in the Craig/Klawock area we took part in the totem pole raisings
and spent some days kayaking around islands. We enjoyed watching
the changing moods of the sky & water. Right now, there is much
rain, gray clouds and the occasional raven is calling outside our
windows.

Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. Your B&B is
a beautiful extension of your home and yourself. I believe we ended
up at the nicest place in Craig. Hopefully we will see you again
next year.

Thank you for the great stay! We thoroughly enjoyed both of the
Inns of the Blue Heron. Bucareli Bay is truly fantastic! We could
have sat on the deck with our coffee forever watching the wildlife
and activities on the water.We enjoyed two great dinners at Ruth
Ann’s and to die for pie at Dockside Café! Whale Pass
and the trip up there was amazing. El Capitan Cave & Beaver
Falls were well worth the effort. This is just a great place! Thank
you for sharing it with us and for providing such comfortable and
inviting accommodations!
